So you need to delete the newly created employee profile then set the old profile to Activate.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a id=\"faqs-link\" class=\"ewd-ufaq-post-margin\" href=\"https:\/\/portal.workdo.co\/en\/ufaqs\/1111\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Switch to the HR tool<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Click Employee Profiles.<\/li>\n<li><a id=\"faqs-link\" class=\"ewd-ufaq-post-margin\" href=\"https:\/\/portal.workdo.co\/en\/ufaqs\/1157\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Delete the newly created employee profile.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Locate the old employee profile using the filters provided.<\/li>\n<li>Checkmark the employee.<\/li>\n<li>Click the yellow Activate button.<\/li>\n<li>Click Confirm in the pop-up window to complete.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<b>STEPS \u2502 Use the new employee profile.<\/b><\/p>\n<div class=\"icon\">Scenario\uff1aWhen a terminated employee is being rehired.<\/div>\n<p>Generally, when a company rehires an old employee, everything starts from scratch, so using a new employee profile is fine in this case.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You do not need to do anything to the old profile.<\/li>\n<li><a id=\"faqs-link\" class=\"ewd-ufaq-post-margin\" href=\"https:\/\/portal.workdo.co\/en\/ufaqs\/1152\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Simply edit all the require information in the new employee profile as needed<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<h5><img src=\"https:\/\/portal.workdo.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/ic-price-lightning-yellow-24.png\">Reminders<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>By default, all employee profiles displayed are currently in employment.
